what is the BioMat?

The BioMat is a unique device that combines the benefits of

far infrared rays, negative ions and amethyst crystals to

produce a deep permeating therapeutic treatment.  It has

been shown to help decrease pain and inflammation as well

as reduce stress and anxiety. The BioMat can also boost

immune function and improve sleep.

how does it work?

The BioMat combines three complementary technologies that work synergistically with each other:

  

   Far Infrared Rays - Far Infrared Rays (FIR) are the same light we receive from the sun minus all of the harmful rays.  FIR has been shown to speed up both the circulatory and lymphatic systems which can help the body eliminate toxins.  NASA undertook research on this part of the light spectrum decades ago. 

  

   Negative Ions - Negative ions are odorless, tasteless, and invisible molecules that we inhale in abundance in natural environments. Think mountains, waterfalls, and beaches.  Negative Ions are 'keys' to channels in the outer walls of our cells.  When these channels are 'unlocked,' toxins trapped inside are free to escape and are picked up by the circulatory or lymphatic systems.

  

   Amethyst Crystal - The amethyst has superconducting properties and acts as an 'amplifier.'  As the therapeutic rays pass through the amethyst, their wavelengths are elongated.  This allows them to safely reach 6-8 inches deep into the body.  Additionally, amethyst's metaphysical properties has been revered by many cultures for centuries.

BioMat sessions are available as an add on to Holistic Massage sessions. 

Its a good way to give your body a head start processing the work that

was performed.

 

Laying on the BioMat is deeply restful for most. The therapy produces a

subtle warmth that permeates from the inside out.

 

The BioMat is placed on a massage table and covered with a sheet.

Clients lie, meditate, or sleep on the BioMat fully clothed for 30 minutes

after their massage.

BioMat for your home

Many people are opting for a BioMat in their home as opposed to a FIR sauna.  The BioMat offers more accurate temperature control, deeper penetrating waves plus the added benefit of negative ions at a fraction of the cost.  It requires no additional space in your home nor additional time on your schedule.  The BioMat can stay right on your bed and you can receive all of the benefits of this therapy while you sleep.
